Ovarian Cysts

Katt's Personal Story...

I had documented ovarian cysts at Cedars Sinai for over the last 11 to 12 years.  Nothing seemed to make them go away. One was the size of a baseball and lots of little ones.  The Doctor said it was time to have them removed surgically. 

My last sonogram was three weeks prior to surgery.  I had a catscan six months prior and they just kept growing.  Being that I am such a believer in holistic healing and teach Qi Balancing & Hypnosis. It was quite a shock to the system that I had to have someone else remove them especially through western medicine.

That being said, I am well aware of the wonderful help western medicine can provide when needed most.  I find the combination of Holistic Healing and western or Chinese medicine to be quiet powerful.

I should also mention that I was fortunate enough to have wonderful doctors who never disregarded how I felt or my belief system.  They do not believe in prescribing medication that is not needed. 

Understanding that this could be serious, it was time to deal with it on another level.  The only way to really know what was happening was to go inside and look. 

I continued to practice Energy healing, Hypnosis and Guided Imagery everyday.

I had my surgery at Cedars Sinai on October 1st, 2007.  This type of surgery is so unsettling because you have no idea what the outcome may be when you wake up.  Endometriosis, a hysterectomy, a partial hysterectomy, cancer, etc.  So, you hope for the best and a good doctor and take it like only a woman can. 

Well, my cysts disappeared completely.  As if they had never been there.  No scarring what so ever.  Yet, I have had them documented for so many years.  The doctors tried everything and nothing made them go away. 

Now, some may say it was the faulty machinery, they just went away on their own, etc.  I am hear to tell you, it was the power of the mind, energy, love, prayers and faith that I AM powerful…I AM in charge…and I AM ONE with the Universe.  I have healed extremely fast from the surgery and feel great.

I was lucky in the fact that this still isn't a serious illness or dis-ease.  Yet, a possible minor irritation if not major in the life of being a woman. 

I know not all things are easy and the diagnosis of cancer (among many other things) can be detrimental to many.  In fact, I don't believe in the doctors giving someone a death sentence…telling someone how long they have to live.  Some people will go home, mark their calendars and die on the day the doctor told them.  Some say, NOT ME and survive way beyond their supposed last day and cure themselves completely.   Some find out when they are in advanced stages….but I still believe in miracles.  Sometimes it is time for us to crossover and if that happens, you can learn to be okay with that too… because it is part of the journey.

The reason for my story??  THE POWER IS WITHIN YOU!  BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.  You can create miracles.  " When you change the way you look at things and the things you look at change."  I know it is not always easy but we all can do it.  

Why did I go through the experience?  I believe because I needed to see a miracle of my own.  One that I was completely in charge of....meaning, how I deal with the situation, my thoughts, my actions, my belief sytem. Do I turn it into a positive or negative situation.  I embraced it and trusted that the Universe was working in my favor, no matter the outcome. 

Now, when I teach and work with my clients, I have an experience so personal.  I know all the crazy things that go on in your head (or at least mine) during this situation and how to overcome it.  I have many interesting stories and experiences, but this gets a special star.

Surround yourself with family and friends who Love YOU (not just you them) and support you. Who are positive and not draining….A.K.A – Energy Vampires.  People who make you laugh, smile, respect you and others.  Focus on the good in others and let go of judgment.  Everyone is fascinating and has an amazing story.  At least that is how I see it. Be easy on yourself and others.  Life can be Beautiful when you let in.

What did my Doctors say? " Katt, whatever you are doing, keep doing it! "  They believed Hypnosis, Energy Healing, Imagery and the power of my mind made the cysts go away.

Hearing them say that was worth the surgery...because it is time for everyone to understand the power of the mind!
